Prepare Data

The first row is always used for column headers and the first column is always used for the main axis. Modify your data as needed.

Import Data

Data can be imported via chart URLs, spreadsheets, or CSV. To import data from any of these sources click Chart Data - paste the data - click Import Data. If using a spreadsheet, select the cells for your data then copy and paste that.

Use Chart

You can download a chart as a PNG image to use anywhere. Or for an interactive chart you can use the URL to embed the chart in Notion pages, websites, or blogs. It should work in any standard iframe.

Using the Table

You can use the table to manually edit your data. You can also use it to move and change the color of rows and columns.

Color Schemes

You can copy a color scheme from a chart to use it again on other charts. Click Copy Data - click Color Scheme - paste in a spreadsheet or text file. To apply a color scheme on a new chart copy the color scheme - click Chart Data - paste the color scheme - click Import Data.

Column Header Tags

Adding a !(#) to a column header will add a prefix or suffix to the values in the widget. Add text before the # for a prefix !($#) and after the # for a suffix !(#%). You can also add both !($#USD). Adding a !(x) to a column header will hide the chart for that column and the values will only appear in the widget.

Bar Chart vs List Chart

The bar chart is multi series and the list chart is single series. The list chart only uses two columns.
